Assessor Accessibility Policy pursuant to PA 660 of 2018

 

In accordance with The General Property Tax Act 206 1993, MCL 211.10g(c) which states that the Office of the Assessor is to be reasonably accessible to taxpayers, the City of Menominee has adopted this policy to comply with this requirement.

 

 

  • The assessing department business hours are:
    • Monday – 9:00 – 2:00
    • Tuesday - 9:00 – 2:00
    • Thursday - 9:00 – 2:00
    • Friday - 9:00 – 2:00

*with the exception of observed holidays

 

 

  • All taxpayers may make inquiries to the assessing department using the email, address or telephone number below.

  • Taxpayer requests for inspection or production of records maintained by the Assessing Department may be made by calling 906-863-1760 or by emailing the assessor or assistant. 

 

  • A taxpayer may make an informal dispute to the assessor, either in person or in writing before the March meeting of the Board of Review using the above contact information.
